Bees at Work

Welcome to Buzz Certified

Preserving Native Bees & Measuring National Progress

We are a new start-up aiming to preserve and protect Native Australian Bees. As part of this, we are investigating methods of remote bee population tracking because if it's not being measured, it's not being managed. We aim to encourage the breeding of Native Australian Bee species for pollination services to assist in future-proofing future food supply.

We are in the midst of research & development and we need your help

We want to fill our calendar with 100+  Conversations

We have a number of assumptions about our start-up that we need to test & we need to talk to the experts. If you are a farmer, beekeeper (domestic or commercial), scientist, researcher, consumer of honey, or have an opinion on the subjects of bees, pollination, species preservation etc, then we want to talk to you.

Click on the link below to book in a time on our calendar. We can't wait to hear your thoughts.

We want to preserve the native bees that are already here

Part of our motivation to create Buzz Certified was learning that multiple species had been made vulnerable as a result of the 2019/20 fires in NSW & VIC.

We want to investigate ways to improve the health of our native bees and ensure that they are as strong as possible.

Got any thoughts? We would love to have a discussion. Click the link to chat.

We want to create a standardised means of measuring progress towards 'saving the bees'

We are firm believers that what gets measured, gets managed - and not much measurement appears to be happening on the global 'save the bees' mission. We are going to change this. We need to talk with scientists, researchers, academics, and data analysis gurus to help us narrow down the options for a standardised measure of progress.

If you've got thoughts on this, please book a time to chat with us.
